This document sets forth the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for AINE Friends (LINE AI Chatbot Creation & Sharing Service). Please read this document carefully before using the Service.

Chapter 1: Terms of Service

Article 1 (Service Overview)

AINE Friends (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provides AI chatbot creation and sharing functionality through the LINE Messaging API. When users describe a character in natural language, AI automatically generates detailed settings and profile images, enabling conversations on LINE.

Article 2 (Terms of Use)

  1. A LINE account is required to use the Service.
  2. Minors must obtain parental consent before using the Service.
  3. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Article 3 (Usage Limits)

  1. Free plan users can send up to 300 messages per month.
  2. Pro plan users can send up to 1,800 messages per month.
  3. Premium plan users can send up to 6,000 messages per month.
  4. Usage counts are reset on the 1st of each month.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users are prohibited from the following activities:

1. Generation of Illegal Content

  • Creating characters depicting child pornography or sexual exploitation of minors
  • Creating characters that impersonate real individuals without consent
  • Creating characters that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or portrait rights

2. Generation of Harmful Content

  • Creating characters that promote violence, cruelty, or terrorism
  • Creating characters that promote hate speech or discrimination
  • Creating characters used for fraud, phishing, or other criminal activities

3. Other Prohibited Activities

  • Interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Unauthorized access or reverse engineering
  • API abuse or excessive access through automated tools
  • Harassment or spam towards other users

Article 5 (Content Safety)

  1. The Service implements AI-based safety check features, but they are not perfect.
  2. If inappropriate characters or content are generated, the operator reserves the right to delete such content and suspend the user's account.
  3. Adult content is restricted.
  4. Published characters can be used by other users, so please only publish appropriate content.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. Copyright of characters and images generated through the Service is subject to applicable laws.
  2. Rights to data used for AI training belong to their respective rights holders.
  3. Users may freely use created characters for personal use.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
  2. The operator assumes no responsibility for conversation content generated by AI.
  3. The operator assumes no responsibility for damages arising from use of the Service.
  4. The operator may interrupt, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice.

Article 8 (Account Suspension)

The operator may suspend user accounts in the following cases:

  1. Violation of these terms
  2. Confirmed fraudulent activity
  3. Other activities deemed inappropriate by the operator

Chapter 2: Privacy Policy

Article 9 (Information Collected)

The Service collects the following information:

Article 10 (Purpose of Information Use)

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  1. Provision and operation of the Service
  2. Management of usage limits (daily message count)
  3. Provision of memory function (short-term and long-term memory)
  4. User support
  5. Service improvement and new feature development
  6. Prevention and detection of fraudulent use

Article 11 (Third-Party Services)

The Service uses the following third-party services:

Article 12 (Data Storage)

  1. User data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud).
  2. Short-term memory stores the last 10 conversation messages.
  3. Long-term memory learns and records user names, interests, personality traits, etc.
  4. Generated images are temporarily stored on Replicate servers and deleted after a certain period.

Article 13 (Data Protection)

  1. Communications are encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher).
  2. LINE Webhook is protected by signature verification.
  3. Database access is protected by authentication.
  4. Regular security reviews are conducted.

Article 14 (User Rights)

Users have the following rights:

  1. Right of Access: The right to access your own data
  2. Right of Deletion: The right to request deletion of your own data
  3. Right of Correction: The right to request correction of inaccurate data
  4. Right to Reset: The right to clear conversation history (available via 'reset' command)

Article 15 (Cookies)

The Service operates within the LINE app and does not use cookies.

Chapter 3: General Provisions

Article 16 (Pricing Plans)

The Service offers the following plans:

Free Plan

  • Up to 300 messages per month
  • Character creation and usage available
  • Ranking viewing available

Pro Plan ($3.99/month or $39.99/year)

  • Up to 1,800 messages per month
  • Character creation and usage available
  • Ranking viewing available

Premium Plan ($9.99/month or $99.99/year)

  • Up to 6,000 messages per month
  • Priority support

Payment is processed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Annual plans are billed as a one-time payment.

Article 17 (Changes to Terms)

  1. The operator may change these terms as necessary.
  2. Users will be notified through the Service of significant changes.
  3. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Article 18 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes related to the Service.
